Sandakphu and Phalut trek are already well established trekking routes in the region and very popular to trekkers from all over the world. Sandakphu, being the highest peak in West Bengal, offers grand views of the world’s tallest peaks. Lhotse and Makalu, the fourth and fifth highest peaks in the world stand tall at 8,516m and 8,463m, trying to outdo the world’s tallest peak.
Paragliding where you can fly like a bird and enjoy the panoramic mountain landscapes from the sky. The total flying time in high fly is 20-30 minutes. Note that Baliman Dara and Bulbuley Dara are the only two certified paragliding take off locations in east Sikkim (both are near Gangtok). You should make advance booking. The operators can arrange hotel pickup and drop at additional cost.
